"Try Recognition" on the HITech Homepage: A Free Online License Plate Recognition Allowance — Upload One Photo to Test Taiwan Plate Recognition

HITech (Heimdall Intelligent Technology) offers a "Try Recognition" online section on its official website homepage, together with a free online license plate recognition allowance. Recognition capability that previously could mostly only be seen through a sales consultation or an on-site demonstration is now available to any visitor: upload a photo and view the results immediately. This is particularly useful for parking operators, community management committees, and traffic-related organizations that want to understand actual recognition performance before deciding to adopt a system.

The "Try Recognition" section offers the following:

(1) A free trial allowance: Users do not need to download any software, register an account, or contact a sales representative to arrange a demonstration — they can try it directly in the browser. The free trial is subject to a usage allowance, intended for evaluating recognition performance.

(2) Upload without installing, or apply a sample photo: In the "Try Recognition" section on the homepage, you can drag and drop or select a photo to upload. If you do not have a suitable license plate photo on hand, the section also includes five built-in sample images — applying one with a single click shows how the recognition process works and how results are presented.

(3) Plate and vehicle attributes in one result: After uploading, the system returns a recognition image with the plate location marked, and lists the license plate number, vehicle type, vehicle color, plate background color, plate character color, and whether the vehicle is electric, along with confidence scores for each item (the fields shown depend on what the image contains).

(4) Currently targeting Taiwan license plates: The online section currently offers license plate recognition mode, with Taiwan license plates as the recognition target. HITech's license plate recognition product itself also supports plates from Japan, the United States, Europe, and Vietnam, but that capability is not yet available in the online section.

Compared with having to schedule a visit and wait for an on-site demonstration to understand the system's recognition capability, the online section saves users the time spent on arrangements and back-and-forth communication. With one photo and a few seconds, they can see the AI's recognition results directly in the browser, substantially lowering the barrier to evaluation.

Separately from this online section, more than 4,000 HITech license plate recognition systems have been deployed across Taiwan. The product is in use at 150 parking lots and 60 community locations, and has passed multi-angle, multi-environment testing. The homepage section provides an online recognition demonstration on a single image; actual deployments involve system configuration and tuning based on on-site camera specifications, mounting angle, and environmental conditions, and recognition performance is determined by validation results in the actual environment.

Please note: the section is intended for testing recognition results only. We recommend using photos of your own vehicle or the sample images provided, and avoiding images that contain other people's personal data.

The online section is fully integrated into the homepage and requires no account registration or software installation — parking operators, community management units, and traffic-related businesses only need a license plate photo to try it in the "Try Recognition" section at any time. If you are evaluating license plate recognition or other AI vision applications, we welcome you to contact us through the website's contact form after trying it out, and we will help you learn more about deployment options and practical benefits.
