HITech Heimdall Intelligent Technology continues to expand the recognition capability of its Barrier-Free Parking Management System with a new **same-space multi-vehicle recognition** feature. For properly configured parking spaces, the system can now separately recognize two heavy motorcycles parked within the same space, tracking each vehicle's license plate, parking status, and dwell time — giving sites more flexible ways to allocate space for heavy motorcycle parking.

## One Space, Two Heavy Motorcycles, Recognized Separately

Until now, space-level recognition at barrier-free parking sites has followed a "one space, one vehicle" model: each space is treated as a single recognition unit for license plate reading and parking records.

Heavy motorcycles, however, need far less parking space than cars. At some sites, a single existing space is physically large enough to hold two heavy motorcycles. But if the system can only treat one space as one recognition unit, it cannot separately manage different vehicles parked within that same space — even when there is enough physical room.

The new **same-space multi-vehicle recognition feature** lets the system separately read the license plates of two heavy motorcycles within the image area of a single space, capture each vehicle's parking status and entry/exit time, and create an independent parking record for it — extending image-based recognition that was previously organized purely by space to also support **recognizing and managing multiple vehicles within a single space**.

## Existing Parking Space Can Now Flexibly Fit Two Heavy Motorcycles

For sites with heavy motorcycle parking needs, adopting same-space multi-vehicle recognition opens up new planning options based on the actual size of each space, how vehicles are parked, and on-site traffic flow.

Where the space allows, a space originally allocated to a single vehicle can now be planned to hold two heavy motorcycles, with the system separately recognizing and recording each one.

By reconfiguring existing parking space this way, sites can gain more flexible heavy motorcycle parking and make better use of the space they already have.

## Two Vehicles: Recognized, Recorded, and Managed Separately

Same-space multi-vehicle recognition is not simply about detecting whether a space is occupied — it individually recognizes and manages each distinct vehicle parked within the same space.

Cameras periodically scan the image of each space, separately capturing the license plate and parking status of each of the two heavy motorcycles and creating an independent parking record for each one, so fees can then be calculated based on each vehicle's actual dwell time — continuing the existing automated management flow of the Barrier-Free Parking Management System.

The existing **single-vehicle-per-space recognition mode remains fully supported**, so sites can flexibly choose single- or multi-vehicle recognition configurations depending on the needs of each zone and space.

## Heavy Motorcycle Parking Is No Longer Limited to "One Space, One Vehicle"

Same-space multi-vehicle recognition means barrier-free parking management is no longer limited to planning around a strict "one space, one vehicle" model.

For open-air lots, barrier-free parking sites, or other image-recognition-suited sites with heavy motorcycle parking needs, operators can evaluate adoption based on **space size, parking arrangement, camera angle, and on-site traffic flow**, achieving more flexible heavy motorcycle parking within existing space.

HITech Heimdall Intelligent Technology will continue to expand the recognition and management capabilities of the Barrier-Free Parking Management System based on real-world parking operation needs, so that space allocation can better match the actual usage needs of different vehicle types and sites.
